    Sugar Island Master Association, Inc. d/b/a Carambola Property Ownersr Association is the full legal name of our association.
  • chevron_rightWhat does C.P.O.A. do?
    CPOA manages the affairs of the Homeowner’s Association including but not limited to:
    a.       Grounds maintenance from the Annaly Corner to our main entrance at the Golf Club
    b.      Grounds maintenance for all CPOA owned property including the main road to the Golf Club and all CPOA roads and common areas.
    c.       Pool area/ Croquet court maintenance at the Ruins pool.
    d.      Tennis court maintenance including repairs and maintenance to the clay courts.
    e.       Managing of finances of Homeowner’s Association
    f.       Obtaining and maintaining liability insurance on CPOA property
    g.      Maintenance of the entry gate
    h.      Security services
    i.        Administers a voluntary contribution charity for educational grants to St. Croix residents
    j.      Enhance & preserve the quality of ownership in Carambola
  • chevron_rightWho may vote at the Annual Meeting?
    Each property current in their dues on the date of the annual meeting ( see Compilation of Covenants 8.4.2 "member in good standing"), is qualified to have one vote cast on its behalf, regardless of the number of owners or entities.
  • chevron_rightWhat do I need to know about the front gate?
    The phone number is 340-725-2480(Cell) . Car passes are available from the Guard Gate. Issued only for property owners .  If you use a rental car, an RFID pass will be issued on an acrylic sheet that MUST to be turned back to the Guard Gate until your return next season. The mail boxes are limited; contact the manager about availability. If you are expecting a visitor or delivery, please notify the gate prior to their arrival  to speed their access to your home. Intelligent Security has been instructed to turn back all visitors without a legitimate need to be inside Carambola.
  • chevron_rightAre memberships to the golf course tied to my Deed?
    No, the golf course is privately owned. But, the Recreation Area containing the sugar mill pool, croquet court, Bocce court, picnic area and the tennis courts are owned and maintained by CPOA.
